Article 3: Scope

Article 4: Order

Ability to contract

Any customer of the company LFAV (THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE) declares that he has the capacity to contract under the following conditions, i.e. be a minor emancipated or have a legal majority and not be protected within the meaning of Article 488 of the Civil Code.

Article 5: Product Information

If THE VOLTAIRE FAUTE cannot provide a product ordered, the company will notify the customer of the cancellation of the purchase by email. Article 6: Price

Prices are shown in Euros All Taxes Included and are only applicable on the date of the customer's validation of the order. Prices posted on the site are subject to change at any time.

Prices do not include delivery costs, gift wrapping fees, any promotional offers and personal discounts, indicated prior to the final validation of the order.

Prices take into account the French T.V.A. applicable on the day of the order and any change in the legal rate of T.V.A. will be automatically passed on to the price of the products presented on the site, on the date stipulated by the decree of application. Article 7: Payment

The order will only be validated after receipt and verification by our services of the parts sent. Failing to receive these documents within 15 days of the ordering, the order will be deemed cancelled as of right.


The order order that the Customer establishes online or the confirmation of order sent by email to the Customer by THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE does not act as an invoice. The invoice is attached to the package.

Transfer of ownership

Shipping times

Orders placed online via the website are collected every day from Monday to Friday, except for a public holiday. THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE does its best to process and ship on the same day any order before 11am, however the processing and preparation time of an order can be lengthened according to the items and last between 1 and 2 working days. Upon receipt of the shipping confirmation mail, the Customer can take into account the carrier deadlines announced below.

THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE informs its customers that these shipping times do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

In the case of an order that contains one or more unavailable products as well as one or more available products, THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE sends the order of the available items after informing the customer by email. Unavailable items will be refunded or exchanged depending on the customer's choice.

Delivery times

The transport times depend on the carrier chosen by the customer and the place of delivery.

THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE informs Customers as an indication of the deadlines announced to it by the chosen carrier. The shipping costs are given as an indication (for Metropolitan France) at the time of the basket and are confirmed definitively according to the mode of transport and the destination of delivery chosen, before the final validation of the order.

However, THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE informs its Customers that the announced deadlines do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Delivery methods in metropolitan France

– Livraison Standard par GLS, DHL ou Colissimo (usually 48 hours)

This method of delivery allows the customer to receive his parcel within 48 hours of shipping thanks to the Post Office and the expert Colissimo service (excluding processing and order preparation time which can take 1 to 2 days). Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday morning, except for a public holiday. The costs incurred for this option depend on the weight and total volume of items ordered.

The parcel is taken care of by the Post Office and delivered against signature to the delivery address indicated by the Customer. In case of absence during delivery, a notice of passage is filed at the delivery address indicated by the Customer, which allows the customer to pick up his parcel at the nearest post office. The parcels are kept pending at the Post Office for 15 calendar days. In the event of a non-withdrawal within the time limit of the carrier, the products will be returned to THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE, which reserves the right to refund the price of the products, with the costs of the ports remaining at the customer's expense.

Ways of delivering outside the France Metropolitan

En Europe et à l’étranger, la livraison s’effectue via divers transporteurs : GLS, Colissimo, Chronopost, UPS, … Les frais engagés dépendent du pays de destination, du poids et du volume total des articles sélectionnés. Les frais et les délais sont indiqués au Client avant la validation définitive de sa commande.

In the event that such references were not made on the delivery slip submitted to the Customer by the carrier, no claim relating to the condition of the parcel or parcels could be accepted in hindsight by THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE.

Carrier-related delivery delays

Dans le cas d’un retard de livraison par rapport aux délais annoncés par les transporteurs, le Client doit contacter en priorité le transporteur (GLS ou DHL) ou son bureau de distribution dans le cas de La Poste, pour voir si le colis n’est pas en instance. Le cas échéant, le Client doit contacter par téléphone ou par courrier électronique le Service Client LA FAUTE A VOLTAIRE afin d’ouvrir un dossier de litige ou d’enquête pour effectuer une recherche du colis.

Sometimes parcels are misplaced by carriers. The delays imposed by the carriers imply that the Customer declares the loss within 10 days of receiving the notice of shipment of THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE. Article 9: Sponsorship

THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE offers its Clients the opportunity to sponsor one or more people in his circle. Sponsorship is to encourage members of the site who wish to recommend the site as Sponsors to other people, internet users not yet members, so that they in turn discover the universe of THE FAUTE A VOLTAIRE. Sponsored people become Fillers and can in turn become Godfather. Note that a Filleul can only correspond to one Godfather.

This right of withdrawal is exercised without penalty, with the exception of the transport costs which remain at the Customer's expense. In the event of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, the Customer will receive an interest in the sums paid to be earned on a future order. The der-employment is valid for 6 months and available online in the customer's account. Customers can also request refunds of the amounts paid. Article 11: Guarantees
